Introduction
Welcome to my family tree website. It is intended to share family history with anyone related to or interested in my particular family ancestry lines. Privacy filtering has been used to avoid posting any personal details of the living.
There is a well-traveled mix of Scots, Cheshire, Midlands Black Country and of course London in my gene pool. Come discover the young man who ran away from home to join the army when he was underage; war-time stories of heroism; the Scots who made their way to England looking for work; the toddler who was hospitalized for 7 years while his mother died before he was 4; the London teenager who left home to become an acrobat and performer; the families that emigrated to Australia, America, Canada or South Africa (and sometimes came back!); mothers who died in child-birth and children who never knew a parent; the girl who left home at sixteen who never saw her parents again; the young actor who started a successful business after being inspired by a television show; the boy who was left alone to fend for himself on the railway platform in Manchester. These are the stuff our ancestors are made of.
Whenever possible I have added multimedia to the family records, including pictures, documents and audio. As always, any additional materials are welcome including anecdotes, pictures, dates and updates.
